Georgia & Jamie are the sweetest couple, and I am so grateful they chose me to be their Hampshire wedding florist, helping make their wedding day even more special with beautiful, thoughtfully curated blooms. Their story is such a heart-warmer! They first met while working in a cocktail bar in Bournemouth during uni, became best friends, and fell in love. Some years later, Jamie took Georgia out on a boat for her birthday, and as they reached the pier, he got down on one knee, shaking like a leaf, and asked Georgia to be his forever.

I feel so honoured to have been part of their big day, bringing their vision to life with flowers that were as joyful and full of love as they are. Modern, Elegant Wedding Flowers by a Hampshire Wedding Florist

The couple envisioned flowers that were modern and classy, yet relaxed, creating a minimalistic, yet impactful look for their day. We settled on a warm, soft colour palette of peaches, pinks, creams, whites and a touch of yellow, incorporating premium Roses, frilly Lisianthus, beautifully fragrant textural Stocks, bouncy and delicate Allium Neopolitanum, Ranunculus, and show-stopping Claire de Lune peonies I am personally obsessed with, among other gorgeous, carefully chosen blooms.

As a Hampshire wedding florist, my goal is always to interpret each couple’s vision and translate it into flowers that reflect their personalities while complementing their venue beautifully.

Modern Bridal and Bridesmaids' Bouquets

Georgia’s bridal bouquet was created in our signature style – textural, slightly untamed, abundant with premium blooms and wrapped with delicate, long-hanging silky ribbons in soft shades that matched her bouquet and bridal look perfectly. She looked truly stunning holding it, and the bouquet moved so beautifully with her throughout the day.

For her bridesmaids, Georgia wanted mismatched bouquets, each showcasing a different dominant hue while maintaining a cohesive overall feel. It allowed each bridesmaid to carry something unique while looking beautifully tied together in the group photos. Jamie and his groomsmen wore slightly mismatched buttonholes to complement the bouquets, adding a touch of soft colour and texture to their sharp looks.

As a Hampshire wedding florist (and a proud recommended supplier at Millbridge Court), it is always a joy to create florals at this stunning venue. Whether you dream of a grand, abundant ceremony installation or something more minimal, the venue’s natural beauty makes the perfect canvas for your floral design.

Georgia & Jamie chose elegant floral pieces on minimalistic plinths to frame them during their vows, paired with floral meadows lining the aisle, creating a romantic and cohesive ceremony space. The ceremony was accompanied by the beautiful harp music of Soraya Vermeulen, adding an extra layer of emotion. And Jamie’s emotional reaction to seeing Georgia walk down the aisle? I am so here for these sweet moments!

Wedding Reception Floral Details

After the ceremony, we repurposed the plinth arrangements to frame Georgia & Jamie’s sweetheart table, and the aisle meadows were placed in front of their table, surrounding them with beautiful blooms during their wedding breakfast and speeches. For their long guest tables, we styled elegant bud vases filled with premium blooms and a touch of fruit for a pop of colour and texture. This not only tied the design together beautifully but also paired perfectly with the exquisite food served by Kalm Kitchen.
