When Shareen and Karl got in touch about their wedding, I was so excited at the opportunity to design their Dodmoor House wedding flowers.

As a Dodmoor House wedding florist, I always love working at this venue, and their vision - wild, untamed, and full of texture - was the perfect match for its rustic charm.

During our consultation, we explored ideas together and refined their vision into something cohesive and impactful. It was such a joy to work with a couple who trusted me to bring everything to life.

In this post, I’m sharing how I designed natural, romantic and highly textural wedding flowers for their beautiful day.

To bring their vision to life, I selected a mix of highly textural blooms in soft, neutral tones.

The palette included:

  • Sandy Quicksand roses

  • Pompom dahlias

  • Frilled lisianthus

  • Soft achillea

  • Delicate ammi

  • Cascading amaranthus

These were layered with foliage such as Italian ruscus, eucalyptus cinerea, fountain grass, and pittosporum to create depth and movement.

As a Dodmoor House wedding florist, I always design with the venue in mind, ensuring the flowers enhance the space while still making a statement. The result was a beautifully organic and elegant look that worked perfectly within the setting.

A wild and romantic bridal bouquet

Shareen’s bridal bouquet captured the essence of the day - natural, expressive, and full of movement.

Using the same floral ingredients, I created a layered, slightly unstructured design where each element had space to shine. The bouquet was finished with flowing ivory and nude chiffon silk ribbons for a soft, romantic feel.

Moments like delivering the bouquet to the bride are always so special - and Shareen’s reaction was just lovely.

For the ceremony, we focused on enhancing the venue’s rustic features.

The wooden arch was styled with asymmetrical floral arrangements, filled with soft, textural blooms and trailing green amaranthus. The design felt natural and effortless while still creating a striking focal point.

These Dodmoor House wedding flowers framed the couple beautifully as they exchanged their vows.

One of the standout features of the day was the hanging floral installations.

These “floral clouds” added height, texture, and a sense of drama to the reception space. Designed to feel wild and abundant, they featured soft draping elements that created a stunning visual impact above the tables.

For the guest tables, we kept the styling minimal to suit the long layout. Clear glass bud vases filled with delicate blooms were paired with gold candlesticks, creating a warm, romantic atmosphere.

Kind words from the couple

'Wow where do I start with Zuzanna at Bloomantic?!

From the moment I contacted Zuzanna to enquire about our wedding florals, I just knew we had to use her services for our wedding on 31st Aug at Dodmoor House. When I contacted her, I had limited knowledge of what I wanted and did not know a lot about flowers to explain my vision in detail - yet with her breadth of experience and creativity her 'flower plan' encapsulated exactly what I knew I wanted on our wedding day. I had made contact with a few florists, but Zuzanna's 'flower plan' was by far the most detailed and informative - I just fell in love with her art.

Throughout the whole planning process she was an amazing supplier - she was always on hand to provide guidance on how to make our wedding the day we wanted it to be. She is extremely thorough and professional yet so friendly and warm - she will always go the extra effort to personalise her services and make you feel special.

Now, moving onto our wedding day... I knew the florals would be amazing having seen her previous work, but wow, I was blown away! Her art is just beautiful - I could not stop admiring the flowers around the venue, from the floral arch, the floral clouds and the displays on the tables for our wedding breakfast. My bouquet in particular I was in love with and did not want to let go of, I truly believe it was the perfect 'accessory'. She delivered her bouquet to me with a warm, friendly hug and some lovely words :) - exactly what a nervous bride needs!

If you have a vision in mind, Zuzanna has the ability to deliver above and beyond. If you don't, rest assured with her creativity and talent, she will take the lead and deliver something magical.

Thank you Zuzanna for being a part of our wedding day!

We truly loved every part of the service you delivered - you are incredibly talented and could never sing enough praises of you.

Love,

Shareen & Karl x'
