In this blog post, I will discuss how we enhanced their big day with a gorgeous, elegant and impactful floral design. NEUTRAL, EARTHY WEDDING FLOWERS

The couple always gravitated towards flowers in neutral, earthy tones. I created a beautiful colour palette for them, incorporating stunning flowers in ivory, cream, beige, brown, and a touch of peach. These were interspersed with beautiful foliage elements in shades of green. We worked with premium café latte, playa blanca and quicksand roses, frilly lisianthus alissa, textural matthiola, charming chocolate lisianthus, and other floral elements to create a highly textural, natural, elegant look. The neutral, warm colour palette complimented the venue’s beautiful gold features perfectly. The result was a modern, elegant, classy floral decor which beautifully enhanced the magnificent Kimpton Fitzroy.

KIMPTON FITZROY CEREMONY FLOWERS

The couple stood before a beautiful, expansive mirror in the ceremony room, exchanging their vows. This captivating moment was accentuated by two gold pillar frames embellished with stunning flowers. These arrangements were meticulously crafted to form modern and abundant 'deconstructed' floral columns, adding an artistic and contemporary flair to the setting. This floral installation not only enhanced the beauty of the ceremony but also created a visually striking backdrop, symbolizing the couple's blossoming future.

Two textural floral arrangements adorned the registry table, and we planned to reuse them later in the day, maximizing their impact and allowing the couple to make the most of their beautiful flowers.

KIMPTON FITZROY RECEPTION FLOWERS

Jana and Jani’s reception flowers were carefully planned. The bride and groom sat at the head of a long and wide top table, with the ceremony flower pillars positioned directly behind them, framing and enhancing the space throughout the day. Their table was adorned with medium-sized, organic-looking floral pieces arranged in minimalistic, beige ceramic vessels positioned along the middle of the table, between the venue’s candelabras. We also included small flower frog vessels in the design, as well as beautiful, ribbed ceramic bud vases in neutral tones, filled with gorgeous, textural flowers. By arranging the blooms at different heights, we were able to create depth within the design, and incorporating various vessels provided ample texture.

After the ceremony, the registrar table flowers were repurposed at the end of the long table, adorning it and creating impact for the rest of the day.

The centrepieces matched the flowers on the top table perfectly. Half of the round guest tables were adorned with beautiful, medium-sized centrepieces in minimalistic, beige ceramic vases, while the other half featured grouped bud vases in neutral shades filled with flowers in the wedding's colour palette, surrounding the venue's candelabras.

The couple’s reception flowers truly contributed towards creating that classy, elegant, romantic ambience they envisioned for their special day.

REUSING CEREMONY FLOWERS FOR RECEPTION

All of Jana and Jani's stunning ceremony flowers were repurposed during the reception. They were used to create a stunning head table feature framing the couple beautifully, and to adorn their speeches, surrounding them and their loved ones with elegance, abundance, and beauty.

I am a huge advocate for repurposing ceremony flowers to make the most of them throughout the day and maximize your investment. If you're interested in learning about different ways to reuse your ceremony flowers and finding out what works, what doesn’t and what to look out for, check out my recent blog post where I discuss this in more detail. Additionally, if you're currently planning your wedding and would like us to elevate it with a gorgeous, impactful floral design, feel free to get in touch. I would love to hear from you!

See you on the next one! :)
