just a few little things about me

We spent eight months planning our wedding, only to have the tiniest lockdown wedding just days after the world shut down in March 2020. Postponing wasn’t an option for us — when you’re ready, you’re ready!
We invited our pastor into our home, our loved ones joined via Zoom, and we said “I do” while the world stood still.
It turned out to be the sweetest, most intimate and special ceremony — and spending that first year together non-stop definitely accelerated the newlywed learning curve!

I truly love marriage. My husband and I are intentional about growing and nurturing ours, and I genuinely cheer for every couple stepping into that beautiful commitment.

I find so much joy in the little, everyday things — morning coffee, sunshine walks, time with the people I love, birdsong (instant mood boost), baking bread (not to mention the eating part!), and making our home feel really cute and cosy.

I’m an introverted extrovert — I love being around people, but I also really value quiet, cosy evenings to recharge with a good book or a bit of Netflix.

I’m the girl behind the blooms — I’ve been helping couples create beautiful, unforgettable memories through flowers since 2017, and I still get just as excited every time I bring a vision to life on a wedding morning.
I feel so honoured to play a part in such an important and meaningful day in my couples’ lives.
Here are a few little things about me, beyond the buckets of flowers:

If I’m not surrounded by flowers, I’m probably being creative in some other way — trying a new craft, or enthusiastically starting a project I may or may not finish.

I’m married to my best friend, Sam. We love Jesus, and we met in church while volunteering on the same team — it’s a story we still love so much.
IF IT ISN'T ENOUGH THAT SHE CREATES THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLORAL DISPLAYS, SHE ALSO HAS THE KINDEST SOUL!
Even though she was booked as our florist, she was always happy to discuss and advise on general decor alongside which was so helpful, as well as just check in on us throughout the planning process! She brought our vision to life, and the flowers were beyond what we could have ever imagined! She gave amazing suggestions and voiced her opinion on what she thought would look best, which we were very grateful for. Thank you for being part of our special day and helping to make it so beautiful!
